I wrote the book for people who can no longer access Divine Life in the current Christian narrative.

In my lifetime, I’ve had a front row seat for the decline of our religion. I also have children. I would have loved to pass rich, transformative, spiritual community to them. Yeah. That’s not going to happen without some serious reconsideration of the most basic elements of spirituality. 

For years I’ve helped disenchanted Christians recover a vibrant spirituality. It’s been a big endeavor. We had to start with the fundamental meaning-making story we tell ourselves. Turns out, how we imagine God, human nature, Jesus, salvation, have been at the core of our tradition’s toxicity. Healthy spiritual community is demanding a healthy meaning-making story.
